Ideation

The first semester of my final year project subject are focus on the ideation process. We are required to choose a brand and I have chosen my brand to be perfecto. Now many people would probably ask, what is perfecto? I feel like i heard it before but.......... what is it again??

Ah ha! It is a potato crisp! If you still can't recall, this is what it looks like!


 

Now do you remember? Surely you have seen it somewhere right! Yes it is everywhere but you may not know about it because it is kinda new after all as it was just released in June 2014. Perfecto potato crisp is a product by MAMEE DOUBLE DECKER and it is one of the newest product by MAMEE DOUBLE DECKER.

Now let's talk about my ideation, after being through with lots of consultation with lecturer, I have come up with a idea to focus my perfecto more towards the italian style as perfecto always focus on the flavour and fresh ingredients. Other than that, I also have chosen to chalkboard art to be my design and art approach.

 So in my campaign, there are tv commercial, exhibition booth, website and other supportive materials. With the help of my lecturers, I have decided that the focus of my campaign will be about perfecto 3 flavours which is chilli and spice, sour cream and chives, and natural sea salt as flavours are perfecto main strong point. Basically, my objective is to explain to people that perfecto have 3 amazing flavours that are perfect for you to enjoy anytime anywhere doesnt matter what your mood is as you can always choose different flavours depending on your mood.

TVC

In my TV commercial series, I try to depict how compatible we are with perfecto potato crisp. The first tv commercial will be about 3 different person with different mood and different purpose of life but in the end, they all have one similarity which is they always choose perfecto to accompany them and strive for the perfection.



In the second TV commercial, I switch the place of the people and the potato crisp. So this time, it will start with 3 potato crisp and it will be explain how compatible  perfecto potato crisp are with us.






ENVIRONMETAL MEDIA

In my exhibition booth, as the campaign is more focus on flavours, I wanted to include 3 different crisp bar and let people come to enjoy the different flavours offered by perfecto according to their mood on that day. Other than that, there will also be a big chalkboard with perfecto logo at the center and people are free to doodle and write anything about perfecto on it. They can also take a picture with the board and props for photo will also be prepared.







WEBSITE

The website will be a parallax website with chalkboard background and chalkboard art on it. All the information regarding the campaign and also the flavours will be available here. There are also game and quizzes in the website to make us know more about perfecto.




PRINT ADS

In the print ads, I have come up with 2 different ideas, one to focus more on the people and another is to focus more on the potato crisp and chalk art.

Competition

During the campaign, there will be a competition going around asking post a picture of them posing as one of the flavours and prizes will be given.

I have chose 5 collaterals to support my campaign which are promotion on bus stand, guerilla booth, point of purchase, instagram, and web banner.
